Started BetaSeron right after diagnosis. Poor result, Quit after 6 months. Major side effects. Have used Steroids intravenous and pills. Poor result, Quit. Started Swank Diet, limited dairy and mild exercise 2/3/97 even though doctor advised it would not help. I believe it is worthwhile and that I have had good results with this program. I have used it 4 months and have excellent diet control, never cheat. I am presently normal weight. I gained on steroids and lost 12 lbs on diet. With rest, diet and supplements I have had general improvement. Optic neuritis has not improved, but fatigue level improved, sleep better, leg pain improved. First MS attack after personal very traumatic romantic disappointment. Presently exercise 15 minutes daily walking.

Both were stress-related incidents. 1997 Intravenous steroid treatment for 3 days after diagnosis. Good result. Amalgam fillings removed 1997, no result. Started Low-fat, dairy free diet Feb, '97.
