FORWARD

It seems that not a week goes by in which I don’t receive at least one letter from someone inquiring about nutritional therapy for Multiple Sclerosis. Fortunately, I have learned of the experience of John Pageler in overcoming MS. My advice to all has always been to contact John and seek his advice. In the past, John was always willing to share his diet with anyone. But unfortunately, the dietary advice was confined to a single sheet of paper. Thus, the inquirers were deprived of the dramatic story of how John overcame the disease and they also were not able to have the advantage of the detailed descriptions that John gave people asking him questions in person.

I pleaded with John, “Please write a book so that everyone can learn the full story.”

I am proud to introduce his book! It is indeed an honor. This book will help countless people have better health and overcome – or at lest reduce – the effects of MS.

When I first met John in the early 1970’s, I met a learned nutritional expert that was full of energy. He bounded with such vigor that I had no idea in the beginning that he was afflicted with MS. It was only years later when we were discussing radio transmitters as we drove into the parking lot of a radio station that I learned of his disability discharge from duty involving radios in the armed service. I was so shocked that I was almost speechless during the radio broadcast that followed.

As I inquired into his dietary program, I could see that his information was correct and that he was applying the known research correctly. The difference was that he had researched the entire scientific literature more thoroughly and was able to connect isolated results into a total program that was more effective than the sum of the part of the program.

Everyone who has or who knows someone with MS should read his book for its encouragement and nutritional therapy.
